The Arab Center for Electronic Media held the first Arab Radio Forum under the slogan “Radio and Digital Media”, via the Zoom platform “Remote”, on Saturday, February 22, Sunday, February 23, 2025 AD, in the presence of a member of the Shura Council Hala Ramzi, and with the participation of a group of Arab and Gulf media professionals, The session was managed on the first day of the journalist Issam Al -Khayyat, and on the second day of the journalist Moaz Tawfiq.
The participating media spoke about the history of the radio in the Arab and Gulf countries, and that the radio appeared in the beginning of the twentieth century AD, and they stressed that the radio preserves its prestigious media position and the unique identity of the radio must be strengthened by providing distinct and attractive content commensurate with the current listeners.
They noted the importance of creating a variety of content commensurate with various digital platforms to keep pace with modern technological development, in addition to that the radio contributes greatly to stimulating imagination and creativity in children, developing listening and attention skills and encouraging self -learning, and it is expected that the radio will witness great future developments.
The forum witnessed a great interaction from the attendees, as they expressed their opinion and admiration about the journalists and benefit from their ancient experiences in this field.
