Sheikh Khalifa bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, chaired the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain participating in the work of the second edition of the Digital Cooperation and Development Forum hosted by Jordan, in cooperation with the Economic and Social Committee of Asia Western (ESCWA) and the League of Arab States, with participation A number of ministers and major Arab and international figures.
The forum focuses on discussing ways to enhance digital transformation in the Arab region, support innovation, develop the digital economy, and enhance partnerships between the public and private sectors, as well as the most prominent challenges and opportunities related to cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and digital government.
The forum continues for two days, and includes closed discussion sessions and ministerial meetings aimed at developing a common road map to enhance digital cooperation between Arab countries, with a focus on the implementation of the Arab digital agenda “2033-2023”, and to benefit from technology and innovation in achieving sustainable development.
