VP Osinbajo Congratulates Asiwaju Tinubu
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the ruling All Progressives Congress Presidential Primary.
The Vice President in a statement he signed personally, also congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari and all leaders of the APC for a successful Special Convention and Presidential Primary.
Vice President Osinbajo said for many decades, the Standard bearer has shown passion, patriotism, courage and determination in the cause of nation building.
As the Vice President said, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s sterling contributions to the nation’s democracy and its progress stand him out, noting that his wealth of experience will certainly be critical in the party’s continued efforts to attain a more secured and prosperous Nigeria.
Calling on all members of the party, regardless of who they voted for at the primaries, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo said that all members must now unite and support the Presidential Candidate and Standard bearer to ensure victory for the party in the 2023 elections.
As true progressives, the Vice President said, all must remain strong and united in pursuing the collective vision as a party towards building a country that could provide a decent life and livelihoods for all the people.
