Ogun Celebrates 2018 Children’s Day
Ogun State will on Sunday, May 27, 2018 join other States of the Federation to mark this year’s Children’s Day, with array of activities, at the MKO Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta.
In a release signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Strategy, Mr. Kolawole Peter Fagbohun, the theme for the celebration is, ‘’Creating Safe Spaces for Children: Our Collective Responsibility’’.
The release further stated that school children, members of voluntary youth organisation and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) among others, would participate in a March past.
It added that the State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, would be the Special Guest of Honour, while the first Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Olufunso Amosun, would distribute prizes to winners.
All invited guests are expected to be seated by 9.00 in the morning.
