Buhari Arrives Ogun State

President Muhammadu Buhari is in Ogun state on his first official visit to any part of the country in the new year.
NTA State House Correspondent Adamu Sambo reports that on arrival, the President inspected a ceremonial guard of honour mounted by a detachment of the Nigerian Army.
President Buhari who started his military career in Ogun State sees the visit as virtually a home coming and the reception accorded him was befitting and remarkable.
Already inaugurated by the President was the 14.5 km Ijebu Ode -Epe Expressway reconstructed by the Governor Abiodun administration to compliment the Sagamu-Benin Expressway under reconstruction and due for completion by the Federal Government later in the year.
Also to be inaugurated by the President during the visit are four other infrastructure projects executed by the state Government. They are the Gateway city gate monument, 42 km Sagamu interchange-Abeokuta dual Carriage way to link Lagos Ibadan Expressway as well as two housing Estates for low, medium and high income earners at Kobape and Oke – Mosan.
Before returning to Abuja, President is expected to pay a condolence visit to the family of the late Head of Interim National Government Chief Earnest Shonekan in Lagos .
