Use of Pre – paid meter for Ogun IPP will promote Efficiency – Fagbemi

The Consultant to the Ogun State Governor on Energy and Team Leader, Ogun Energy, Chief Taiwo Fagbemi has assured energy consumers on the State Independent Power Plant that the newly introduced prepaid metering process was meant to promote efficiency and cost effectiveness.

          Fagbemi, who spoke while sensitising members of the State House of Assembly on the loading of credit into the meter, explained that all issues arising from the process were being promptly addressed by the State Bureau of Electrical Engineering Services (BEES).

          He added that the consumers would enjoy all technological advantages including, short code services that would soon be introduced for ease in the delivery of alternative power services.

          In his remarks, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Suraju Ishola Adekunbi, represented by his Deputy Olakunle Oluomo, tasked the energy provider to continue to be responsive to the need and yearnings of the consumers, imploring the Bureau to ensure that issues raised at the session are promptly addressed.
