Amosun Acknowledges Civil Servants Efforts, Pledges Improved Welfare Package
Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has acknowledged the significant efforts of civil servants, which he said has contributed to the growth and development of the State.
The Governor, who stated this during an unscheduled visit to government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), at the Oke-Mosan Secretariat in Abeokuta, commended civil servants for their dedication to duty, charging them not to rest on their oars.
According to him, ‘’civil servants are ready to support any government that is ready to work, if we would get it right, the civil service must be well strengthened.’’
He added that very soon, the operations and systems of filing of the MDAs would be digitalized, to complement the hard copy filing system, promising to work on the constant release of bulk payment for the effective running of the ministries, departments and agencies. He said his government would not relent in the welfare of the people.
Speaking with press during the visit, the State Head of Service, Mr. Abayomi Sobande assured of maximum cooperation of the entire workforce, in achieving the mission of the present administration to move the State to an enviable height.
