Ogun to Establish Industrial Hub in Each Senatorial District.

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has said an industrial hub would be established in each of the Senatorial District, to drive developmental wheels that would encourage Public Private Partnership in the State.

Prince Abiodun, who stated this while fielding questions from newsmen in his office at Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, said, his administration’s various policies and programmes would attract more investors to the State, thereby creating job opportunities for the people, particularly, the teeming youth.

“We will encourage both local and international business men to come and invest in the State. Their coming will provide jobs for the people and their lives will be better”, he said.

The Governor also reiterated that a befitting Primary Health Care would be built in all the wards to provide qualitative healthcare for the people at the Local Council Areas.

Abiodun who decried the disconnect between the people and the previous government, particularly in the rural areas, said he was ready to bridge the gap by ensuring that they enjoy dividends of good governance,  assuring that repair and regular maintenance of roads would be carried out.

He said his first day in office was to familiarize himself with the workers and the environment, meet with Security Chiefs on security issues, as well as, Permanent Secretaries of various Ministries, Departments and Agencies, to inform them of his administration’s policy, which he would want them to key in.

“As leaders of the workforce, my meeting with them is to let them know my vision, how to chart the way forward and how they will galvanise the workers towards achieving our goals and objectives of meeting the needs of our people”, he said.

The Governor while promising prompt payment of salaries, deductions and offsetting outstanding debts, solicited for the cooperation of the workforce to move the State forward.
