Ogun Government Declares Mid – Term Break for Public, Privates Schools.

Ogun State Government has declared two-tiers of mid-term holidays for second term 2018/2019 academic session, for public and private primary and secondary schools towards the forth coming general elections.

A release signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Alhaji Sefiu Rasheed, indicated that the mid-term breaks would start on Friday 15 and end on Monday 18 February, 2019, while schools are expected to resume for academic activities on Tuesday 19 February, 2019.

The release further stated that schools are to embark on another mid-term break on Friday 1 to Monday 4 March and resume on Tuesday 5 March, 2019.

It enjoined parents and guardians to properly monitor their children and wards during the holidays.
