Abiodun Extols Oba Tejuoso’s Virtue On Praise Day

The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has described the convener of the Kings Day of Praise, the Osile Oke-Ona Egba, Oba (Dr.) Adedapo Tejuoso, as a man after God’s heart, saying the continuous hosting of the programme in the last 16 years indicated the Monarch’s love for God.

Prince Abiodun, who made this known at the 16th edition of the Kings Day of Praise, organized by the Oba Karunwi III Evangelical Movement, (OKTEM), held at the Bishops Court, Onikolobo, Abeokuta, said the programme was an avenue to appreciate God.

According to him, “no event can be more important than the opportunity to give glory to God via our praises. There is nothing that gladdens my heart than starting my day officially these blessed way of praising and submitting to His will because nothing pleases God like this”.

He appreciated the Chairman, organising Committee, Evang. (Prof) Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi, for his outstanding contribution to the development of music, saying he has built for himself a successful career in the industry, pledging to continue to put God first towards even distribution of dividends of democracy to the people of the State.

In his welcome address, Oba Tejuoso, noted that the 16th edition of the gathering of kings was an indication of God’s habitation in the midst of His people, noting that, despite the tight economy the people are subjected to, God has remained faithful. The Monarch charged everyone to put God in all they do and let His praise continually be in their mouths, commending the governor for finding time to attend the Day of Praise, despite his busy schedule.
