OGSG Supports Olu Jacob’s Come Back Plea For Indigenes

 

The Ogun State Government says it will support the Veteran ‘Nollywood’ Actor, Oludotun Jacobs plea for sons and daughters of the State who have made their marks outside the State to return home and assit the present administration in its rebuilding mission.

The Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Rt. Hon. Muyiwa Oladipo while receiving the actor at his office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta in company of his wife, Joke Silva, appreciated their determination to return home after sojourning outside the State for years.

Oladipo said great living icons of Ogun from all fields of life abound in the diaspora, calling on them to take a cue from Olu Jacob’s commitment to finally return and settle at home.

The 75 year old Actor, who hails from Oke-Itoku, Ijemo-Agbadu area of Abeokuta, said he was delighted and proud to be a son of the State, commending the ingenuity of the State Cultural Troupe that has made Ogun proud at national outings.

‘’I have sojourned outside the State for years and I have seen great socio-economic transformation going on in the State which is highly inspiring. It is good for me to be part of this great development, so I am finally coming back to settle in my home town Abeokuta,’’ he said.
