FRSC Traffic Alert on the Gridlock Along the Lagos – Ibadan Expressway Around RCCG, Mowe, Ogun State.

TRAFFIC ALERT FROM FRSC OGUN STATE COMMAND ON THE GRIDLOCKS ALONG THE LAGOS – IBADAN EXPRESSWAY AROUND RCCG CAR PACK C, MOWE OGUN STATE.
ON THURSDAY 04 JULY 2019

The Federal Road Safety Corps Ogun State Sector Command wishes to inform the motoring public of the obstruction caused by a petrol tanker laden with PMS that crashed into the barriers at about 1450 hrs around RCCG car park C on the outward Lagos section of the Lagos – Ibadan Expressway.

FRSC operatives working with sister traffic agencies and the construction company have been able to remove the barrier to enable traffic flow. The Fire Service have also been contacted , as standard practice, before transloading to avert fire outbreak.
Effort is on ground to remove the crashed vehicle off the road

Motorists are advised to use alternative corridors like Ikorodu – Sagamu, Lekki Ajah – Epe , Lagos – Ota

  • Abeokuta Expressway.

The FRSC Ogun State Sector Commander, Clement Oladele has adviced motorists to be patient and cooperate with FRSC and sister traffic and emergency agencies managing the traffic situation.

Motorists can also call FRSC toll free number 122 to report traffic emergencies
