Amosun Commends Ogun West’s Supportive Role In Development Initiatives

The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has described Ogun West Senatorial District of the state as one that has contributed to the success of his administration in the last six and half years.

Governor Amosun, who stated this at the 2017 Ayetoro -Yewa festival of Tradition and Culture held at Ayetoro, explained that the present administration would continue to involve all stakeholders in the State towards promoting democratic ideals.

Amosun, who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Taiwo Adeoluwa, lauded the people of the area for parading array of distinguished personalities who are capable of projecting the State to greater height, assuring the people of government commitment at delivering more dividends of democracy to citizenry.

In his remarks, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Suraju Ishola Adekunbi assured indigenes and residents of Yewaland particularly Ayetoro Community that the Senator Ibikunle Amosun led government would intensify effort at sustaining the pace of developmental programme of the area.

Speaker Adekunbi said that the delivery of people-oriented policies and programmes by the present administration required the support of all and sundry, stressing that the festival was an avenue for all sons and daughters of the town to deliberate on more development policies for the advancement of the entire Yewa land and to celebrate their rich history and culture.

In his remarks, the member representing Ogun Central Senatorial District, Senator Lanre Tejuoso lauded the commitment of the State Assembly under the leadership of Speaker Adekunbi, pointing out that the synergy between the legislative and executive arms had brought unprecedented development being experienced in the State since the inception of the present administration.

Earlier, the Chairman, Central Ayetoro Yewa Day Organizing Committee, Elder Idowu Amosun applauded the present administration for improving the well being of the people through the provision of needed social amenities, saying the development would raise the profile of the town through the various visible developmental projects with an appeal for more intervention project across town.
