FG Declares June 28 And 29 as Public Holidays
The Federal Government has declared Wednesday, June 28 and Thursday, June 29 public holidays in commemoration of the Eid-el- Kabir festivities.
A statement by Dr Oluwatoyin Akinlade, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, felicitates Muslims and indeed all Nigerians and urges them to replicate great virtues of obedience, sacrifice and faith exemplified by Prophet Ibraheem (Peace of Allah be upon Him) throughout the celebrations.
The Permanent Secretary also expressed hope that the prayers and sacrifices of the season will bring about peace, unity, and progress in Nigeria.
