NIEEE Abeokuta set to inaugurate Engr. Olumayowa Idowu as 3rd Chairman
The Nigerian Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering NIEEE, Abeokuta chapter is set to inaugurate Engr. Olumayowa Idowu, FNIEEE as the Abeokuta Chapter’s 3rd chairman and executive committee members of the professional body as well as induct new corporate members.
In a release signed by the Chairman, Inauguration planning committee, Engr. Abolaji Ilori, the event is billed to take place on Saturday, 10th April, 2021 at the Valley View Auditorium, Government house, Isale – Igbein, Abeokuta by 10:00am.
Former Director General, Nigerian Broadcasting Commission, Engr. Yomi Bolarinwa FNSE is expected at the event to do justice to the theme; Digital Broadcasting: An imperative in the digital age.
Also expected at the event are eminent personalities including Engr. Adeyemi Kings FNIEEE, Engr. Dr. Stephen Moses Okpanachi FNSE, FNIEEE, Engr. T.S.G. Wudil, FNSE and HRM Oba Saburee Babajide Bakre, (Jamolu II) Agura of Gbagura who is the royal father of the day.
According to the release, Ogun State Commissioners for Rural development and Forestry, Engr. Oludotun Taiwo and Engr. Hon. Tunji Akinosi including Mrs. Funmi Wakama; General Manager, NTA Abeokuta and Engr. Lolu Adubifa Ogun State Special Adviser (Energy) to Governor are the special guests of honour.
Ilori however added that Covid-19 protocols will be strictly adhered to at the event while the event will be transmitted live via zoom for other virtual participants
