Buhari Opens International Breweries PLC in Ogun

  

As more multinational companies continue to take full advantage of the ease of doing business policy of the federal government, the nation will continue to move up on various economic indices.

President Muhammadu Buhari made this known during the official commissioning of International Breweries PLC, Gateway Plant at Orile Imo community in Obafemi Owode local government.

President Muhammadu Buhari represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation Boss Mustapha commissioned the multimillion dollar brewery plant, the largest in West Africa and Nigeria, at Orile Imo community in Obafemi Owode local government.

He said the impact of the present of the multinational company will not only reverberate across the economy but also positively affect the life of the people and development of the state.

Mr. President thank the Ogun state government for creating the enabling environments and giant strides in industrialization of the state.

Ogun State Governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun said this is a symbolic statement on the success of the efforts of his administration to develop the state and there would not have been a better destination for businesses and industrial concerns as existing businesses continue to grow while the new ones are opening up.

Governor Amosun promises to more investment in infrastructure development and asks the company to ensure that its activities impact positively on the host communities adding that the government is ready to take full advantage of the value chains of such a multinational company.

The governor used the occasion to invite companies operating in the state to partner with the government infrastructure development.
