Maintain Your Good Deeds After Ramadam-Ogun Deputy Governor Charges

The Ogun State Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako -Oyedele has charged Muslim faithful across the State to continue with the tenets of the holy Quran and sustain  all  the good deeds after Ramadan.

Addressing faithfuls at the Ota Muslim Community Praying Ground, Ota, Salako-Oyedele  said, good deeds  such as, giving alms, helping the less privileged, good conduct  and  observing  regular prayers should not  end after Ramadan

“As  ramadan ends today, we should endeavour to continue to imbibe all these good things in our lives because Islam preaches peace and love. During ramadan, we do a lot of community service , we assist the less privileged but many stop doing all of these after Ramadan; there is need for us to continue to seek for the welfare of others, so that we can have a better society”, She stated.

The Deputy Governor added that, Islam is a religion of peace and enjoined the people of the State to embrace peace, irrespective of religions and backgrounds, in order to move the State forward.

In his sermon, the Chief Imam of Ota, Alhaji Sadeeq Buhari, urged Muslim faithful to  apply all the lessons of Ramadam in their day-to- day living, calling on sons and daughters of Aworiland,  home and abroad to come together to contribute positively to the success of the present administration.

In her remark, the Iya Suna of Ota Community , Alhaja Fausat Olusesi thanked Almighty Allah for witnessing the completion of the Ramadan, urging Muslims to embrace love, peace , and sustain all the good deeds of the Holy
