NTA Abeokuta Staff, Olumayowa Idowu makes the list of 2021 AIG Public Leaders Programme

Idowu Olumayowa Ayodeji of the Engineering department, Nigerian Television Authority, NTA Abeokuta has been selected among other fifty officers of the Nigerian public service to participate in Africa initiative for Governance Public Leaders programme after a rigorous and competitive process.
Commending the selected officers, Head of service of the Civil service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan says the emergence of the officers is a welcome development.
She expressed optimism that the selected officers’ participation in the AIG Public Leaders Programme will be of immense benefit to the service as the officers will be exposed to best practices in contemporary public sector leadership from world – renowned scholars and outstanding practitioners.
A statement from the office of the head of service of the Civil service of the Federation adds that the AIG Public Leaders Programme is organized in partnership with the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford with academic scholarships by the foundation to enable the selected officers participate in the programme.
The AIG Public Leaders Programme is a unique executive training programme designed to equip future public sector leaders with the skills and knowledge they need to run their organisations effectively.
Among other skills, the officers will learn how to lead effectively in a complex operating environment, foster collaboration within and across agencies and spearhead innovation throughout government.
According to the Foundation, the Programme will commence in September 2021 in Nigeria, while the next round of applications is slated to open in 2022.
