Fatal Accident Claims Four Lives Along Lagos – Ibadan Expressway
A fatal Accident has claimed the lives of four persons along the Lagos Ibadan Expressway.
In a statement by the Public Education Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps, Ogun Sector Command Florence Okpe, the crash which occurred early Saturday morning involved two vehicles.
Mrs Opke noted that a total of six male adults were involved with two persons unhurt and four dead.
FRSC blamed the fatal crash on excessive speeding and use of phone while driving which led to loss of control on the part of the Lexus driver which rammed into a moving truck.
The bodies of the victims of the accident have been deposited in the morgue of a private hospital at Ibafo, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The Sector Commander FRSC Ogun State AHMED UMAR cautioned motorists on the use of phone while driving and the dangers associated with the act.
