Eid-el-Kabir: Abiodun felicitates with Muslims, Preaches Resilience, Patience and Steadfastness

As Muslim faithful world over celebrate this year’s Eid El Kabir, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has congratulated Muslims for witnessing the Eid El Kabir and urged them to emulate the resilience, patience and steadfastness as well as absolute faith in Allah as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin, Governor Abiodun said the symbolic slaughtering of Ram during the Eid El Kabir as ordained by Allah depicts the need to foster unity and spread love in the State and indeed Nigeria.
The Governor who said though the country is going through a trying period wants Muslim faithful to take advantage of the Eid El Kabir to offer supplication to God by seeking HIS face for restoration and healing of the land.
He acknowledged the significance of the Eid El Kabir and urged Muslims to uphold the tenets of Islamic faith while celebrating in moderation.
The Governor in his statement says “I strongly believe and hope, that God who changed the reproach of Prophet Ibrahim and replaced with joy and victory, will change our situation in Nigeria for better. As our Muslim brothers celebrate, let us be moderate and remember those who don’t have in our neighborhood and share the merriment with them. Let us remember Nigeria and in particular, Ogun State, in our supplications”
Governor Abiodun says his administration will continue to espouse good governance and initiate good policies that  will ensure prosperity for everyone.
