NSE Abeokuta Branch Elects New Officers

THE Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Abeokuta Branch, Ogun State has elected new officials that will take over the affairs of the body.

At the election, held on Thursday, during the branch Annual General Meeting and election, in Abeokuta, Director School of Engineering Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Abeokuta Engr. Dr. Olanrewaju Ahmed Apampa FNSE emerged as Chairman; Engr. Dr. K.A Olonade emerged as Vice Chairman; Engr. Olumayowa Idowu, a member of the 15-man NSE National Conference Planing Committee and Chairman Media and Publicity for the 2018 NSE National Conference, won as the General Secretary; Engr. Mustapha B. Jaji-Assistant General Secretary; Engr. Mufutau W Olayemi-Technical Secretary; and Engr. Wale Olaluwoye-Assistant Technical Secretary.

Others are Engr. Adeyemi Ismail-Public Relations Officer (PRO); Engr. Oluwafemi Afinni-Assistant PRO; Engr. Dr. (Mrs) G.M Amusan-Financial Secretary; Engr. A.P Olagunju-Treasurer; Engr. Lookman Olatoye-Auditor; and Engr. I.A Adenuga-Ex-Officio.

The 12th Branch of the Society also had its Annual General Meeting where many far reaching decisions were made. The Annual General meeting was also used to appreciate Immediate past Chairman Engr. M.I. Abbass FNSE and his team who served the branch and the society meritoriously, during their period of stewardship.
