2017 Xmas Kiddies Party: Amosun Enjoins Children To Listen To Parents, Teachers

The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has enjoined children in the State to always listen to their parents, guardians and teachers saying it is one of the secrets to attaining greatness in life.

Governor Amosun stated this at the 2017 Christmas Kiddies Party organized by the wife of the Governor, Dr. (Mrs.) Olufunso Amosun for children in the State held at the State House of Assembly’s field, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

The Governor who led a session of current affairs quiz for the kids, urged them to face their studies and respect the elders, praying for their success in life.

While enjoining them not to join bad gangs, Governor Amosun advised them to shun and desist from any act that may jeopardise their lives.

The yearly party which was well attended by children from across the State is an initiative of the wife of the Ogun State Governor, Dr. (Mrs) Olufunso Amosun.

The Wife of the Governor, Dr. (Mrs.) Olufunso Amosun who also spoke at the occasion, noted that Christmas was a special season where Christians and adherents of other religion celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ the saviour of the world, encouraging the children to pursue their dreams and aspirations by working hard, wishing them merry Christmas and a prosperous mew year.

The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mrs. Modupe Mujota, while welcoming the children, advised them to spend their Christmas holiday wisely by helping their parents and care givers at home.

Speaking on behalf of the children, Success Iguati thanked the Governor and his Wife for putting together the Christmas party, praying God to bless and uphold them as they take the State to higher height.
