Amosun In Presidential Race, Not In An Alliance With Any Aspirant
Following the rumors over the weekend that former Ogun State Governor and Senator representing Ogun Central Senatorial district, Ibikunle Amosun who is also a presidential Aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) says the stories are false.
Senator Amosun in a statement by his media aide, Bola Adeyemi, explains that the two fake stories trending on social media claimed that he has been cleared for the Senate and another one says he is set to align, with a named presidential aspirant for the presidential contest.
Senator Amosun maintained that he only procured presidential forms to secure APC Presidential ticket hence he did not attend the screening exercise for Senatorial aspirants
He therefore declared that he is in the race for the Presidential ticket of the APC and has no plans to align with any politician in the race and urged members of the public to discountenance the misleading stories
