Amosun hosts men of his Convoy

Workers in Ogun state has been assured of the legacies of an efficient and rewarding civil service where individuals are appreciated according to their contributions to the development of the state.

Ogun state governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun gave this assurance while hosting members of his convoy, members of staff in his office and government house at a special get together organised by his wife Dr Mrs Olufunso Amosun to celebrate the new year and appreciate their contributions to success of the administration in outcome year.

As it is the tradition every first day of the new year as one big family officers in the governor’s convoy, the office, government house staff and that of his wife being hosted to a get together to usher in the new year by the wife of the governor Dr Mrs Olufunso Amosun.

Apart from being a time to wine and dine together, it also provided a good platform to a critical appraisal of their activities in the outcome year while bringing forward their requests.

They appreciated the governor for his sterling qualities and excellent leadership style.

The deputy governor Chief Mrs Yetunde Onanuga and speaker of the State house of assembly Honourable Suraj Ishola Adekunbi thank the members of staff for being critical elements in the smooth running of the administration.

Wife of the governor and the host Dr Mrs Olufunso Amosun was full of appreciation to the officers for their contributions in making success of the administration as led by his husband.

Dr Mrs Amosun urged them to continue to give their support and be part of the history of the transformation of the state.

When it was time for him to respond Ogun state governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun made it known that their contributions to the success of the past eight years will never be taken for granted and charged to be fully prepared for the task ahead as the administration coasts home.

Governor Amosun said all that have been achieved would not have been possible without each part of the whole playing its role.

The Governor then spoke on the importance of the get together to the smooth running of the government.

He promised speedy response to all their requests.
