Amosun Celebrates Iyalode Alaba Lawson As She Exits Naccima Presidency

The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has joined dignitaries from all walks of life to celebrate the 19th and first female President of Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, (NACCIMA), Iyalode Alaba Lawson, as she bows out of office.

Amosun, while speaking at the valedictory ceremony held in Lagos, appreciated Iyalode Lawson, whom he described as ever active, productive and a proud daughter of Ogun State, who has brought in the ‘’Ogun Standard’’ touch to NACCIMA, thereby giving it a massive turn around, saying, her tenure was very eventful, ‘’she has not let us down’’.

Governor Amosun, who was the Chairman at the occasion, expressed optimism that the outgoing NACCIMA president has added value to the Association, wishing her well in her future endeavours.

“I am sure that she is leaving NACCIMA better than she met it. There would still be more beautiful and greater things coming her way”, the Governor said.

In her remark, the outgoing National President, appreciated the Association and other executive member for their cooperation in making her tenure a success, using the occasion to honour Chief Bisi Rodipe, as Life Vice President of the Association
