Amosun Bags TAMPAN Man Of The Year Award
The Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Producers Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) has conferred 2018 Man of the Year Award on the Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun.
Disclosing this in Abeokuta, at a meeting between its executive committee and some top government officials, a member of the executive, Mr. Debo Alexander, said the award was in recognition of the landmark achievements of the Senator Ibikunle Amosun-led administration, which has transformed the State, particularly in the area of infrastructural development
Alexander while announcing the Association’s forthcoming 3rd annual convention, tagged ‘’Convention 2018 Ogun State’’, scheduled to hold between 26th to 29th September, hinted that the award would be formally presented to the State Governor during the convention.
In their separate remarks, President of TAMPAN, Mr. Dele Odule and a member, Mr. Bolaji Amusan, noted that the Governor had been supportive of the entertainment industry, describing him as the best in that regard.
Responding, Secretary to the State Government, Barr.Taiwo Adeoluwa thanked the Association for deeming it fit to honour the Governor, saying, the award would spur the Governor to deliver more of dividends of democracy to the people.
Pledging government unflinching support in making the convention a huge success, Adeoluwa recalled that the State had hosted lots of such national and international events in the past,
