Akinlade meets Ogun Cooperative Executives
The need to create the Ministry of Trade and Investment in Ogun State towards ensuring adequate business policies and actions that will lead to econmic growth, wealth, job creation, poverty reduction and enhanced better service delivery, cannot be overemphasized.
Gubernatorial Candidate of the Allied Peoples’ Movement, Honourable Adekunle Akinlade, made this known at a meeting with Stakeholders in the Community Development Council and Ogun State Trade Council.
The meeting took place at the Cooperative College, ljeja, Abekouta.
That was the gathering of Stakeholders of Cooperators from various units across Ogun State.
The gathering was aimed at fostering better Working relationship withing the Union members as well as to interface with the Government, through the Ministry of Community Development and Cooperatives for maximum productivity.
Special guest of Honourable, Honourable Adekunle Akinlade, who doubles as the Gunbernatorial Flagbearer, Allied Peoples’ Movement, Ogun State, says, creating a Ministry of Trade and Investment, will no doubt improve the ease of doing business amd attract foreign direct investment.
In their separate speeches, Chairman, Ogun State Community Development Council, Alhaji Rasaq Ikupoouyi and his counterpart in Trade Council, Comrade Bamkole Kulodo, were in agreement with the vision of Honourable Adekunle Akinlade, which is aimed at boosting economic growth in the State.
Chairman, Ogun State Cooperative Fedration, Apagun Wahaab Oloyede and Youth Representative, Michael Akinfolarin say, for the vision of Honourable Akinlade to come to filfiiment, endorsing him for the Gubernatorial seat in Ogun State remains the option.
