Akarigbo assures of attracting more Investors to Ogun
The Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi has promised to use his connection to attract more investors to Ogun State, especially in the area of transportation.
Oba Ajayi made the promise while playing host to management of the State Bureau of Transportation (BOT), who were on a sensitization tour on how to effectively utilise the recently acquired buses by the Monarch to ease transportation problem in the area.
Akarigbo who stressed the importance of transportation in moving goods, services and humans from one place to the other, urged operators in the transport sector to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations guiding the industry in order to make it grow.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, Barr. Gbenga Opesanwo, represented by the Director of Mass Transit, Engr. Wale Sokunbi, Opesanwo, lauded the Oba’s intervention which he said would ease transportation challenges being faced by the people.
Opesanwo also appealed to the monarch to use his position to continue investing in the sector, urging him not to renege on his promise to invite more investors to the State in the area of transportation and other sectors for the benefit of all.
It would be recalled that the Akarigbo of Sagamu, Oba Babatunde Ajayi recently injected some buses in Sagamu, to ease transportation challenges in the area.
