Abiodun mourns Buruji Kashamu
The Ogun state governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, has expressed shock over the death of Senator Buruji Kashamu.
Senator Kashamu, who represented Ogun East at the Senate in the 8th National Assembly and contested the gubernatorial ticket of the state on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) against Governor Abiodun, died this Saturday in Lagos .
In a statement released in Abeokuta signed by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin, Governor Abiodun described Kashamu’s passing as one death too many and a devastating blow to the nation’s political family generally.
Governor Abiodun On behalf of his family, the Government and good people of Ogun State urged his family members to find solace in Allah while also praying Allah to forgive and admit him to Aljannah Firdaus and his family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear the loss.
