Details of official, language and distinguished school fees – Al Watan Plus Portal

With the start of the new academic year approaching on Saturday, September 20, 2025, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced details of the value of tuition fees for students in public, official language and distinguished schools, in addition to the dates for payment of installments.

Official government school fees:

• Kindergarten to second grade: 320 pounds
• Third year of middle school: 220 pounds
• First year of general secondary school: 545 pounds
• From the second year of secondary school until the third year of general secondary school: 530 pounds
• The first grade of all types of technical secondary school (3-5 years): 245 pounds
• Other technical secondary education classes: 230 pounds

Installment dates:

• The first installment will be collected on the first of next October, and the second installment on the first of February 2026.
• Kindergarten to second grade: The first installment is 255 pounds, the second installment is 65 pounds
• Third year of middle school: The first installment is 180 pounds, the second installment is 40 pounds
• First year of general secondary school: The first installment is 430 pounds, the second installment is 115 pounds
• From the second to the third year of secondary school: The first installment is 415 pounds, the second installment is 115 pounds
• First year of technical secondary school: The first installment is 200 pounds, the second installment is 45 pounds
• The second and third grades of technical secondary school: The first installment is 185 pounds, the second installment is 45 pounds

Fees for official language and distinguished schools:

• Payment system: 4 installments
• Distinguished official language schools – kindergartens: Total expenses: 3477.41 pounds, installments: 1458 – 718 – 685 – 615 pounds
• First, second and third grades of primary school: Total 4190.51 pounds, installments: 1686 – 898 – 836 – 770 pounds
• Fourth, fifth, and sixth grades of primary school: 4490.51 pounds, installments: 1836 – 898 – 986 – 770 pounds
• First and second grades of middle school: 5173 pounds, installments: 2049 – 1077 – 1123 – 923 pounds
• Third year of middle school: 4973 pounds, installments: 1925 – 1077.51 – 1047 – 923.59 pounds

Official language school fees:

• Kindergarten KG1: 2427 pounds, installments: 1158 – 368 – 585 – 315 pounds
• KG2: 1875 pounds, installments: 1020 – 175 – 530 – 150 pounds
• First, second and third grades of primary school: 2125 pounds, installments: 1132.50 – 192.50 – 635 – 165 pounds
• Fourth, fifth, and sixth grades of primary school: 2425 pounds, installments: 1282.50 – 192.50 – 785 – 165 pounds
• First and second grades of middle school: 2645 pounds, installments: 1380 – 210 – 875 – 180 pounds
• Third year of middle school: 2445 pounds, installments: 1255 – 210 – 800 – 180 pounds
