Ambassador Tariq bin Ali Al Ansari, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Arab Republic of Egypt and its former Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation at the conclusion of his official duties in Cairo, praising what he witnessed during the past two years of fruitful cooperation and sincere fraternal relations between the State of Qatar and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the strengthening of the bonds of cooperation and joint Arab action achieved during them.

Ambassador Al-Ansari said in a post on his personal page on this occasion that he recalls with deep appreciation two years of diplomatic work rich in understanding and successes, noting that he was honored to serve the Qatari-Egyptian relations in a way that reflects the strength of the fraternal ties between the two countries.
Al-Ansari explained that he received a number of honors during his work that he is proud of, the most prominent of which was the honoring of the League of Arab States by the ambassadors of the Arab countries and Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Secretary-General of the League, in appreciation of his efforts in supporting joint Arab action and enhancing coordination among member states.
He also expressed his appreciation to the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, headed by Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, for honoring him in appreciation of the embassy’s cooperation and support for educational and technological initiatives.
The former Qatari ambassador indicated that he was also pleased with the honor organized by Her Excellency Angelina Eichhorst, European Union Ambassador to Cairo, in the presence of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, who delivered a speech in which he stressed the importance of cooperation between the State of Qatar, Egypt and the European Union in supporting development and stability efforts in the region.
