Director Hisham Al-Rashidi, the director of Oscar’s Return of the Mammoth, sent a touching message of thanks to the Egyptian audience after the great turnout and positive reactions that accompanied the film’s screening in its first days, but at the same time he expressed his regret that the film was not shown in halls equipped with the techniques with which it was made.

Al-Rashidi said in a post on his official page: A very big thank you to the great Egyptian audience.. The feedback and comments that I see on social media mean a lot to us. Many people book and find full concerts, and this is a great pride for us, but we are waiting for greater support from the cinemas, as they provide us with larger halls that suit the size of the film and the technologies that we used.
He continued: The first film with Dolby Atmos technology in the Middle East. The director revealed that the Dolby company in England contacted the work team after watching the film, as it showed great interest in it, and expressed its desire to support it marketingly, as it is the only film in the Middle East filmed and executed with Dolby Atmos technology.
Al-Rashidi added with regret: What is strange and sad is that the film is the only one with Dolby Atmos technology, and yet it is still not shown in any Atmos hall yet. 250 artists and engineers are behind the experiment.
Al-Rashidi explained that more than 250 Egyptian artists and engineers participated in implementing the film within Trend Company, which has a clear imprint in Arab and international cinema.
He stressed that the work is not just a film, but rather an experience that opens the door to a huge industry in Egypt that can attract foreign investments and business to film within the country.
The director of Oscar: Return of the Mammoth concluded his message by emphasizing that the film represents a first step towards developing the Egyptian film industry, saying: Our hope remains that the film takes the place it deserves in theaters, and is shown in halls that suit the techniques used for it, because this is just a first step, and there are many steps behind it.
