We were honored, along with my brothers and sisters, to attend the Sakhir Palace on Wednesday, the eighth of this October, and to greet and shake hands with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, as is His noble custom in receiving a number of members of the honorable royal family, His Majesty’s advisors, a number of ministers and businessmen, and a number of honorable citizens of the provinces, in order to honor the distinguished and creative. Falling under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, His Majesty is keen on these meetings to communicate directly with citizens to understand their situations and listen to their visions in various fields.
The meeting began with a fragrant recitation of the verses of the Holy Quran, then His Majesty, may God protect and preserve him, delivered his lofty speech on this occasion, which was a beacon of enlightenment for people of opinion and advice, as he began by welcoming everyone, and singled out the people of distinction and excellence among the Bahraini competencies in various scientific specializations and professional expertise.
His Majesty also praised the elite entrepreneurs and owners of startups and small companies, appreciating their achievements and appreciating their efforts and strength of will in facing market challenges to achieve success and launch their institutions towards internationalism that go beyond the limits of commercial gains, which raise returns to the national economy. He also praised the steady construction of the commercial business sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which is based on modern systems and long-standing practices, derived from the experiences of its pioneers. The first to provide lessons learned about the ability of the “Bahraini merchant” to develop economic activity to meet future ambitions.
The meeting revolved around celebrating innovative entrepreneurship and honoring the pioneers and innovators who shape the future of various industries. He highlighted the element of innovation, which is the key to growth and development. This honor adds moral value to the effort and creativity undertaken by the honorees, who will have a brilliant future in ambitious industries that link them to future transformation in creating new sectors with innovative ideas that compete with global markets.
This honor has a broad indication of His Majesty’s insightful vision about building a Bahraini society with international standards in creativity. His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Trade also blessed the National Innovation Strategy (2025-2035), which enhances the Kingdom’s position as a center for research, development, creativity and innovation, which was launched by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him.

It is a great honor to meet you and listen to your generous directives, which constitute for all of us a motivation and incentive to continue the process of creativity and innovation in the service of the nation and the citizen, and to raise its flag under the leadership of Your Majesty, and His Highness, your faithful Crown Prince, the Prime Minister.
