A young man in his twenties, an electrician, was killed by electrocution while repairing a power fault inside a major pharmacy in Damanhour, Beheira.
The body was transferred to the morgue at Damanhour Teaching Hospital, a report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the investigating authorities were notified, which began investigations into the incident to determine its causes and circumstances.

The security services, Beheira Security, received a report from the Police Rescue Operations, stating that an electric shock accident had occurred inside a pharmacy on Abdel Salam Al-Shazly Street in the city of Damanhour, and that a deceased person was present.
Moving on, examining and questioning witnesses to the incident, they determined that while the late Mohamed Ibrahim Al-Sayed Bassiouni, 18 years old, an electrician, was repairing a fault inside the pharmacy, he was electrocuted by the current, causing his death.
The body was kept inside the morgue at Damanhour Teaching Hospital, a report was drawn up on the incident, and the investigative authorities that initiated investigations into the incident took over.
