The First Public Prosecutor, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hammadi, Head of the Judicial Inspection at the Public Prosecution, stated that during the current year, the Judicial Inspection Department implemented more than eighty training programs and specialized workshops in which more than 450 participants participated, all of which aimed to develop the technical, professional and personal skills of members of the Public Prosecution and a number of judicial control officers in various public authorities, as part of a comprehensive training strategy in implementation of the instructions of Dr. Ali bin Fadl. Al-Buainain, Attorney General, aims to develop judicial performance in line with the future vision of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which aims to strengthen the justice system and achieve institutional excellence and quality performance in various areas of judicial work.
Pointing out that the training programs varied to include advanced courses in cooperation with the Institute of Judicial and Legal Studies that dealt with advanced legal topics and modern litigation methods, in addition to courses implemented in coordination with the Ministry of the Interior that aimed to develop the performance of judicial officers and employees of the Ministry in areas related to judicial work. The training plans also included joint courses with a number of ministries and public and private institutions, focused on raising the efficiency of Employees of those entities and enhancing institutional integration between relevant authorities.
He added that the Judicial Inspection also organized internal courses for members of the Public Prosecution aimed at developing their practical skills through lectures presented by an elite group of experts in the legal and technical aspects. The training plan also included in-person and electronic external programs that enabled participants to learn about the best international practices in the fields of investigation, case management, and modern judicial techniques, which contribute to developing institutional performance and keeping pace with global developments in the judicial field.
The head of the Judicial Inspection stated that the annual training plan includes ongoing programs and others implemented in cooperation with official bodies, as the Judicial Inspection prepares its courses based on the practical professional needs it monitors and coordinates with the Institute of Judicial and Legal Studies to select competent lecturers and ensure the quality of the training content. The plan also includes evaluation mechanisms for participants and lecturers to measure the extent of benefit and develop future programs with Special focus on the areas of electronic investigation, cybercrime, artificial intelligence, and emerging crimes.
Counselor Dr. Ahmed Al Hammadi stressed that these efforts come in the context of keenness to keep pace with legal and administrative developments, in line with Bahrain’s future aspirations and vision in developing the justice system and enhancing the quality of judicial performance.
