Badr Hamed, head of the youth sector in Zamalek, said in statements to Cairo 24: There are a number of distinguished players in the youth sector who will be the future of Egyptian football and the Zamalek club.
He continued: We have 25 players in the youth sector who are ready to participate with the first team at any time, from the goalkeeping position to the striker position.
He continued: I always communicate with John Edward, the club’s sporting director, and he was given a list of distinguished players to use at any time with the first team.
At the level of the first football team, the international quartet, Mahmoud Hamdi Al-Wansh, Hossam Abdel Majeed, Mohamed Sobhi and Mohamed Ismail, participated in the team’s training today, Wednesday, at the Military College Stadium, in preparation for the Somalia’s Dekedaha match in the African Confederation Cup, scheduled for next Saturday.
Zamalek duo, Hossam Abdel Majeed and Mohamed Sobhi, participated in the ranks of the first team during the World Cup qualifiers, while Mahmoud Hamdy Al-Wansh and Mohamed Ismail were present in the camp of the Egyptian national team participating in the Arab Cup tournament.
