The criminal investigation services at the Ismailia Security Directorate, headed by Major General Ahmed Alian, revealed the details of a horrific crime that claimed the life of a 12-year-old boy. His body was found torn into pieces next to the Carrefour area in Ismailia. It was found that his schoolmate was behind the crime.

The Director of Criminal Investigations had formed a research team headed by Brigadier General Mustafa Arafa, Chief of Investigations at the Directorate, and with the membership of Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Hisham, Inspector of the Ismailia Center Investigations, Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Gamal, Head of Investigations at the Center, Captain Mahmoud Tariq, Assistant Investigations Officer, and a number of Criminal Investigation Officers, to determine the identity of the perpetrator and arrest him as quickly as possible.
Initial investigations revealed that the perpetrator of the incident was a 13-year-old boy who lured his colleague to his home in the New Station area of the First Ismailia district, and assaulted him with a wooden stick on the head until he died.
Investigations added that the accused used an electric missile to tear the body into small pieces, then transported it and threw it next to the Ismailia Carrefour to hide the signs of the crime.
A force from the Ismailia Police Station Investigation Department moved to the site where the body was found, and imposed a security cordon around the place, while the investigating authorities moved to inspect the crime scene and began investigations.
The young boy’s body was also transferred to the Suez Canal University Hospital morgue at the disposal of the investigating authorities.
