Ahmed bin Salman Al Muslim, Speaker of the House of Representatives, affirmed the legislative authority’s keenness to enhance constructive cooperation with the executive authority, to achieve the upcoming work priorities, which came in the sublime speech of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and with the support and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives congratulated the heads of the parliamentary committees who were elected to chair the committees during the fourth session, praising the trust they received from their colleagues, and expressing his appreciation for the efforts of Their Excellencies the committee chairs and their deputies, during the third session of the sixth legislative term.
This came during the meeting of the Bureau of the House of Representatives, which was held today, Wednesday, under the chairmanship of His Excellency Mr. Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and in the presence of Their Excellencies: Representative Abdul Nabi Salman Ahmed, First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Representative Ahmed Abdel Wahed Qarata, Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Representative Mahmoud Mirza Fardan, Chairman of the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee, Representative Ahmed Sabah Al-Salloum, Chairman of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee, and Representative Mamdouh Abbas Al-Saleh, Chairman of the Services Committee. Representative Muhammad Musa Al-Balushi, Chairman of the Public Utilities and Environment Committee, Engineer Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Sisi Al-Buainain, Secretary-General of the House of Representatives, and Dr. Saleh Ibrahim Al-Ghaith, Chairman of the Legal Advisors Authority of the House of Representatives.
During the meeting, the agenda of the upcoming Council sessions was reviewed, and a number of topics of parliamentary concern.
