At the “GITEX Global 2025” exhibition held at the Dubai World Trade Center, the Dubai Police General Command revealed the “Biometric Tunnel”, one of the “Dopaometrics” projects, which is used to measure the physical movements of the person who passes through it, and documents them directly using artificial intelligence techniques and a machine learning system, with an approved kinetic fingerprint. It contributes to identifying a person by the way he walks. Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Hamad Mansour Al Awar, project manager, explained that the biometric tunnel is one of the innovations of the Dubai Police, and is currently in the research and development stage. It is used in forensic science and helps experts identify people by measuring their movements.
