Salah Haidar Hussein, Director of the Zakat Fund Department at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, participated in the twentieth meeting of the heads of the agencies responsible for zakat in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which was held in the sisterly state of Kuwait.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance the exchange of experiences and joint cooperation between the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council in the field of zakat, and the establishment of an integrated Gulf digital platform that aims to enhance training, courses, lectures, joint initiatives and innovative ideas in a way that contributes to raising the level of education and culture in the field of zakat institutional work, in addition to discussing the plan for the sixth joint forum (2026 – 2031 AD).
