Hoda Al Hashemi, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Affairs, confirmed that the UAE government continues to consolidate the “Strategic Choice” methodology as a main tool to prepare for a future in which technical, economic and demographic transformations are accelerating, noting that the national vision “We are the Emirates 2031” represents the framework that directs efforts towards building a government system that is more flexible and ready for various future scenarios. This came in the opening speech of Hoda Al Hashemi, which she delivered during the annual meetings of the Global Future and Cybersecurity Councils in Dubai 2025, in the presence of an elite group of experts, decision-makers and thought leaders from various countries of the world, to discuss the readiness of governments for transformations.
