The General Administration of Identity and Foreigners Affairs announced in DubaiIn cooperation with Global Village, it announced the placement of the Global Village logo for the 30th season on all visas issued by the Emirate of Dubai, in addition to adopting a special stamp bearing the Global Village logo on the passports of those arriving to the country, in celebration of the thirtieth anniversary of the launch of the village.
Dubai launches a special stamp and new logo on visas to celebrate the 30th season of Global Village
In a joint symbolic initiative that reflects the spirit of cultural openness and human diversity that characterizes the Emirate of Dubai, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs Dubai, in cooperation with the Global Village, announced the placement of the Global Village logo for Season 30 on all visas issued by the Emirate of Dubai, in addition to adopting a special stamp bearing the Global Village logo on the passports of those arriving to the country.
The two entities announced that entry to the Global Village will be free for holders of passports bearing the Global Village stamp for Season 30, for a period of ten days from the date of the village’s opening on October 15, provided that the stamp is next to the entry stamp so that the holder benefits from this advantage only once.
This step embodies the institutional integration between government agencies and their partners in the public and private sectors, reflecting Dubai’s keenness to highlight its initiatives that celebrate cultural diversity and enhance its position as a bridge for cultural communication between the peoples of the world. The initiative also aims to introduce millions of travelers coming to Dubai to this landmark that brings together the world’s cultures in one experience, and embodies the values on which the emirate’s identity is based: openness, tolerance, and humanity.
