The Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh is preparing to host the International Peace Summit on Gaza, today, Monday, with broad participation that includes 25 leaders and heads of state and representatives of international and regional organizations, in a high-level diplomatic event jointly chaired by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and US President Donald Trump.

Delegations participating in the summit began arriving in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh, in preparation for the launch of the summit’s work, which aims to enhance peace efforts and international coordination in the face of current global and regional challenges.
According to reports, it is expected that a bilateral meeting will be held on the sidelines of the summit between President Sisi and President Trump, which will address bilateral relations between Egypt and the United States, in addition to discussing the most prominent issues on the summit’s agenda.

The sources also indicated that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is among those invited to attend the summit, which reflects a desire to expand the circle of regional and international representation in dialogue on issues of security and global peace.
