Minister of Social Development, Osama Al-Alawi, issued a decision licensing the registration of the Beauty Salon and Spa Owners Association in Bahrain.
The association’s bylaws stipulate that it seeks to achieve its goals within the laws in force in the Kingdom, and after obtaining prior approval from the competent authorities. The means of work include organizing exhibitions and promotional events for services provided in the field of beauty salons and spas, holding workshops, training courses and specialized conferences, signing memorandums of understanding with relevant government and private agencies, and using digital platforms to publish content. Awareness, as well as carrying out social activities that support the objectives of the association and society.
Among the basic requirements for membership in the association is that the member must be fully qualified, not less than 21 years old, have a good reputation and conduct, not have been convicted of any crime, and be the holder of a licensed commercial register in Bahrain. If the commercial register is owned by a legal person, the representative of the legal person must be either the owner himself or the Chairman of the Board of Directors, or an authorized representative of the owner.
