Zain Bahrain, the leading innovator in the communications and technology sector in the Kingdom, concluded the first phase of its pioneering program “Zain Great Idea (ZGI)” to accelerate and develop emerging technology projects, which was launched for the first time in Bahrain.
Launching with its first inaugural phase – the bootcamp, held at Zain Bahrain Tower from September 24 to October 9, 2025, the program attracted a large number of early-stage entrepreneurs from Bahrain. The training camp provided a real opportunity for young entrepreneurs looking to establish innovative projects in the labor market by providing them with comprehensive support, including guidance and resources necessary to develop their business models and hone their entrepreneurial skills. They also had the opportunity to attend numerous technical workshops and lectures, as well as one-on-one mentoring sessions where they gained valuable insights into business strategies, innovation and effective leadership.
Participants are now fully prepared to develop their business models, build attractive presentations to investors, and present their solutions with confidence. After completing this milestone, the entrepreneurs are ready to move on to the second phase of the program – Super Tuesday – scheduled to take place on October 14, 2025. This is the day when participants will present their ideas to a judging panel, who will evaluate the ideas based on criteria such as innovation and feasibility. Based on these assessments, one qualifying startup will be selected for the next stage, a transformative two-week trip to Silicon Valley, California, where they will gain world-class insights, receive mentoring, and learn about leading global entrepreneurship environments.
