The security services of the Ministry launched Interior Intensive security campaigns on roads and highways to detect school bus drivers who abuse narcotic substances.
A security campaign targeting school bus drivers to preserve the lives of students
The security services carried out intensive campaigns on the main roads and axes within a number of security directorates to detect drug users among school bus drivers.
The efforts of these campaigns resulted in the examination of 82 cases of school bus drivers, and all samples were found to be negative. Legal measures were taken, and the campaigns are continuing to preserve the security and safety of road users.
This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior’s agencies taking the necessary measures in coordination with the concerned authorities to reduce traffic accidents and their causes, especially the use of narcotic substances among school bus drivers on the main roads and axes.
