Nominations have begun for the fifth session of the ISESCO/Hamdan Award for the Development of Educational Facilities, which aims to promote innovation and excellence in the field of education. The importance of the Egyptian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture

Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chairman of the Egyptian National Committee for Education, Science and Culture, stressed the vital role that the committee plays in implementing national, regional and international projects, as these efforts contribute to achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030 and enhance Egyptian representation in international forums, through cooperation with organizations such as UNESCO, ALECSO, and ISESCO, which reflects Egypt’s commitment to education, science and culture.

ISESCO-Hamdan Award for the Development of Educational Facilities

In this context, the Egyptian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, in cooperation with ISESCO and the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences, announced the opening of nominations for the fifth session of the ISESCO-Hamdan Award for the Development of Educational Facilities in the Islamic World for the year 2025-2026, as this award aims to stimulate voluntary initiatives and charitable work in the education sector, and support infrastructure development. And educational facilities in the countries of the Islamic world.

Award details and nomination mechanism

Dr. Ayman Farid, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning, explained that the total value of the award is $300,000, as it is granted to three winners, at $100,000 for each winner, in order to support the development of winning projects or the creation of new educational projects, in addition to granting the winners a shield of appreciation and a certificate of victory. Dr. Rami Magdy, Assistant Secretary-General of the National Commission for ISESCO Affairs, also indicated that nomination for the award is done through There are two mechanisms: self-nomination or nomination by acclamation, by completing the form and sending it in Arabic or English through the approved electronic system.
