Majed El Kedwany’s movie “What Does It Mean” topped the box office in cinemas, earning 5 million and 910 thousand pounds yesterday, Friday, continuing to outperform the rest of the films currently showing.

The film’s total revenues, 10 days after its release, reached 36 million and 710 thousand pounds, amid remarkable public interaction and praise for the performance and the social theme presented by the work.
The film belongs to the type of social works that Al-Kadwani has been presenting in recent years, which often find wide acceptance among the audience, whether in cinema or television drama.
The film stars Ghada Adel, Asmaa Jalal, Mustafa Gharib, Mimi Gamal, and Rital Abdel Aziz alongside Majed Al-Kedwany. The film is written by Mustafa Abbas, Mohamed Ashraf, and Walid Al-Maghazi, and directed by Omar Rushdi Hamed.
Earlier, Majed El-Kedwany spoke about his new film, “In It,” expressing his happiness in cooperating with the artist Ghada Adel. During his interview with Cairo 24, he said: Cinema is the entertainment industry, and the theme of the movie “In It,” “What Is It Meaning, “We have said a lot that we have not done and is absent from the audience.”
He added: Ghada Adel is charming, on the human and acting level. She is a very sensitive actress, and acting is collective, not individual. I enjoyed and benefited from her energy in acting, and she is a great actress, and her performance was a blessing to me.
