On Saturday morning, the Israeli occupation army launched a series of violent air strikes on various areas in southern Lebanon, in a new escalation of the ongoing confrontations on the Lebanese-Israeli border.
The Israeli occupation army said in a statement that the Air Force carried out a wave of air strikes in southern Lebanon, claiming that the attacks targeted Hezbollah infrastructure, where engineering tools used to restore infrastructure were stored.

The occupation army’s statement claimed that the presence of these tools and the activity of Hezbollah in the region constitutes a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon, according to the text of the statement.
Lebanese media reported that one person was killed and injured as a result of the Israeli occupation raids on the town of Musaylih in southern Lebanon.
