The government referred to the House of Representatives a draft law ratifying the framework agreement regarding contributing to the financing of the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Street development project (second phase) between the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, attached to Decree No. (30) of 2025, where the Kuwaiti Fund provides more than 86 million Bahraini dinars.
The agreement regulated the general provisions related to financing the project, as it stated that the Fund would provide the borrower with seven annual loans, each of which the value does not exceed 10 million Kuwaiti dinars, with a total amount of all loans not exceeding 70 million Kuwaiti dinars (more than 86 million Bahraini dinars), provided that a loan agreement is concluded – emanating from the framework agreement for each loan separately.
